AFAIK it's not possible to run an app within an app like that so no, one would have to share the photo via the share command to an image processing program.

You already have an editor in the gallery. Three dots > Edit > Adjustment > Resize. Is this not working for you?

Studio works but can it do some sort of batch mode. Kind of a paid to adjust a bunch individually.
