IMEI changed to 000000000000000

First, I apologize if my post is in the wrong section. I just recently got back my Samsung Galaxy Y duos from repair. I noticed that my IMEI was changed to 000000000000000. Will this create a problem for me? If so, what should I do to get my old IMEI back? I am not tech savvy and will appreciate any help and advice. Thank you.

This is a failed and incompetent repair which will probably cause problems in the future. You should make the repairer fix his error.
