Improving S7 audio through headphones.

So maybe it's just us this phone doesn't have a good audio DAC, but I notice the phone doesn't get very loud when listening through headphones. This is troublesome because I listen to a lot of podcasts and music on my phone and sometimes I struggle to hear it even at 60-75 percent volume or more. Is there anything I am o in settings to help this?

Using PowerAmp with the built in equalizer and sound settings help. But if you're using the SnapDragon version I don't know how much.

What's power amp? Also, I'm sure I have the snapdragon version since I'm in the US

PowerAmp is a music player app in the Play Store. It's not free though. Consensus is that it's one of the best, if not the best in delivering sound quality among all music apps. Interface is a bit dated though.

Or you could invest in bluetooth headsets.

Honestly, I really hate the sound output. I'm wo seeing if I should just go back to my iPhone. I do a ton of audio listening.
