Had a Samsung account and lost the password. they said I need my old phone number to recover it. it was a temp number and I no longer have it in service... actually did not think I would need it. called the Samsung support twice and they could not help me, nor could the cell provider. tried to ask on samsung forum and got yelled at. want that account because its associated with my primary email.

Is anyone here tasked with the dilemma of improving their system? want to find a worker for Samsung.

Think someone in the department for accounts could easily find their way around, I have access to the correct email after all.
would you want to develop a better system?

Are you asking if anyone here works for Samsung and can hook you up with someone who can help?
The answer to that would be not likely, this is an Android enthusiast site only.

You say its unlikely that Samsung worker/supporter looks here,
maybe I dont know how this works because I thought it was likely on account of the fact that every samsung system uses android.
where am I likely to find that person?

In general, someone who actually works for a large company like Samsung or Google would most likely be prohibited from participating in public forums like this, due to the risk of accidental (or intentional) disclosure of sensitive material.

Like the rest of us on samsung.com under contact us and try a rep until you get someone and/or accept defeat.

Using a burner number was a mistake and yiur seeing the consequence. That account is gone unless you had an email tied to it, then Samsung may be able to assist you.

No random employee, even if you found one, will risk their job to recover an account of a stranger online.

To summarize, accept it's gone. Try contacting different OFFICIAL Samsung reps from their OFFICIAL support and hope someone will assist.

Want someone to see this, wish I could drop a smoke signal and make someone from samsung pay attention that its a failing system specifically for me. I am sure that not everyone has to put up with this. constantly feel like the failure of others gets cast upon me like I am at fault. any developer should take this message as knowing your audience or customer how they think and how they react, because the way I deal with faied systedm is I destroy it.

Have you tried here ?

So you know in the future when you link an email or phone number to an account even if it's not Samsung it's your responsibility to update if you change them so when it authenticates you don't run into issues, this goes for Google account also , it's to protect that person's Data.
