I can get the navigation details in google maps, but there is no voice.

Welcome to Android Central!

When you start the navigation portion to go to your destination there should be 3 dots in the bottom left corner. If press that a menu will pop up. You have the option to mute navigation or not mute it. Make sure that it is unmutted. If you still do not get a voice make sure the volume is turned up for the navigation.

If you have Bluetooth earphones and it's turned on, the sound could be coming from them.
