In need of some advice or info....

This is my first time posting in the Evo 4G thread as I own an Optimus S, however I have a chance to get an Evo 4G for Sprint for a reasonable price. My Optimus S is rooted and runs a custom rom, so i can wifi tether, and so on... Seeing as the Evo 4G can't be rooted yet and there for can't wifi tether, my question is, can I tether through a USB cable connection and if so is there a free app that I can use? This the only thing stopping me from getting the Evo 4G since it can't be rooted yet cuz it runs on Gingerbread. Other than that, I really like this Evo 4G. If someone can help in answering my question and offer some advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank u

There are free apps you can use. The thing is a lot of the free versions block sites with https. You have to get the paid versions. Here is a list to choose from.
