In Search of the Thinnest Note 8 Case

I've been searching. Please help me find it. I'm currently using the Spigen Thin Fit Galaxy Note 8 case. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the case. But I'm looking for something similar with the top and bottom parts of the phone exposed like the side buttons are. I love the minimalistic design, but hate that the bottom and top of the phone are covered as well. Thanks in advance.

Bought this case based on your recommendation. Delivered yesterday. Absolutely love it. Thanks.
This is the one! Scooped it up. Thank you for pointing out the price drop! Much appreciated!
Agree with this one.
Guys, I'd have to vote for the OEM Samsung Galaxy Note8 Protective Cover. Plenty snug, so much that I had to learn to put it on bottom first like the instructions say. It has decent grip, but most important to me, it doesn't interfere with the screen edge. $9.97 right now on Amazon.

Can one of u comment on how it feels in ur hand... I have the original Samsung thin case, which is almost same as this but it is very slippery but love it otherwise and is the thinnest case I have seen.. It even saved my phone from 2 falls
Thanks

It feels almost like when you hold the phone without a case. It is still slippery although not as slippery as a naked device. I purchased the fully transparent one so can't speak for the others.

The Samsung alcantara case is thin and feels amazing!

How is this one in terms of not causing accidental "touch response" when you are holding it? Like it registers you as touching the edge when you aren't.

I know what you mean. I have experienced a little of this. But only noticed it in landscape mode playing a game. I've learned to adapt. Not doing this as much anymore.

Anyone who just got this case experience this?

I got "phantom touches" so much on my Spigen Thin Fit that I switched over to my cheap case yesterday. It was happening in potrait mode when I would type, it would interfere with the input.

Do I have this right... it's flexible TPU with cut outs for the buttons? The one I am using has the buttons covered.

It is flexible. But in my mind, incredibly rigid at the same time for a thin case. So much that I don't worry about it losing it's tight fit. It is indeed TPU, and there are cut outs for all buttons. Not too much exposure though. Which I find helpful in getting to the buttons when I'm not looking. Especially the fingerprint sensor.

Here is there review that convinced me to get the cover. It starts around the 2 minute mark.

Thanks! Video helped! That's a sale! I am going to get it. I am looking at the black one. Is that what you have? Is it transparent?

Yes, I do. It's the same one that is reviewed. Transparent yet smokey. You still see the branding through the back. Enjoy it!

Order placed! Thanks for the help!
It is no doubt the thinnest one.... It was included in the box when I got the phone.
It looks a little black tinted but on the device it is very transparent. You wouldnt say it's on.

The only thing I don't like, is it's slippery... Slightly less then the naked phone though.

Have few other than transparent and thin cases like this and they have a great grip feeling due to the material used..they are advertised as one .1 mm thick, so the Samsung one should be much thinner than that.

I use an LK slim case, flexible and transparent one, can be washed when it gets manky looking and cost less than a tenner, it has a little bit of a lip at top/bottom so you can put the phone face down as well

Pitaka...expensive, but very good quality.

I second the Pitaka. It does cost a little more but well worth it. Definitely minimalist and also has built in metal for magnet mounts but does not interfere with wireless charging.
