In Search of the Thinnest Note 8 Case

I second the Pitaka. It does cost a little more but well worth it. Definitely minimalist and also has built in metal for magnet mounts but does not interfere with wireless charging.

Oh man... A case you can use with a magnetic mount and wireless charge? So tempting! That's a feature I really want. But I just can't justify spending $50 on that piece of metal. Grrrr.

That's the same case I'm using now. It's the only case I've used since the S7Edge days. Even on my iPhone 7 Plus and now my Note8 and Note7 before that. I do love them.

I have been using this one https://www.amazon.com/Colorful-Ult...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6203067 and really like it. The gravel black has a very subtle texture that adds just enough grip. This one does not wrap around the front, so you don't want to place your phone face down.

Very easy to remove. It holds on well, but it wouldn't survive a fall that's for sure. I have a few of these type of cases. I use it to protect my phone from scratches. I also have a glass screen protector. Next best thing, other than going completely naked. I wouldn't get it if your looking for drop protection.

I bought a lot of cases, but this is the one I stuck with. Pretty thin, wireless charging still works, is raised in the front - top and bottom - for face down. Enough on the sides to keep my fingers from triggering the edges without adding much bulk.
