One I'm surprised nobody has mentioned is Ringdroid... lets you make any kind of sound for your device out of any songs you have on the device or SD card. Uses the waveform of the song and allows you to select sections and save them.

Advance Task Killer, Advance Task manager, System Panel, Task Panel

I tried those 4 and kinda lean towards Taskpanel for its ease of use and simplicity. Anyone prefer one over the other for any specific reason?\

Other Apps I use
Shazam, Flixster Movies (very handy), Dictionary.com (nice word of the day widget),NESoid, Google Maps/sky/earth (if only they could get all their features on one program.

Anyone who is using task manager or task killer might want to do a little research because it will cause more harm to your phone then good. It will kill apps and some of those apps you need to have running for you OS to work properly. The Android OS can manage your apps better then you might think. A good app to have instead would be system panel which will give you a true list of currently running programs and its free. Just do a search for task killer and read the many threads that explain its no good.

I put all of the phone default apps on the "ignore list" and only have Advanced Task killer to kill off apps that I've installed like Google maps, games, etc. That way no harm....

what are the specific apps you should exclude or ignore anyways? Since we all have incredibles, I assume our ignore lists should be similar.

Thanks for the replies so far guys, I have found several nice ones so far I hadn't discovered.

Another App I really enjoy is Epicurious... it is a food idea/shopping list app. Has a database of over 25,000 meals currently. You can search these many different ways, and also add the meals to your shopping cart which will populate ingredients for you. All of this for free, very nice.

I found an app called Bleep which is awesome. and my FAV app so far has to be the Walkie-talkie- PTT app... TiKL (touch to talk BETA)- literally turns my inc into a walkie talkie with another user who has the same app its free to.
