Incredible vs Droid

To be honest, I'd jump on the Incredible if it wasn't for one thing... the red accents. ESPECIALLY that earpiece on the front. It totally ruins the look of the phone and draws the eye to somewhere that doesn't really make sense. If there was a way to make that black, I'd feel a lot better. Oh well.

Dude... their is nothing on any phone that draws my eye to it. Wait I lied... my eye is drawn to wallpapers of lovely women in a state of undress or nearly undress. Other than that its just a phone... not a fashion statement.

So how bad is battery life? I am currently a blackberry 8900 user and I don't have any problems going two days with out a recharge. I also realize Blackberry and Droid are very different phones.

I usually charge every night, but I think it is ridiculous if you actually have to use two batteries a day.

I really really want a Droid phone though.

I think the reason behind the Droid battery draining is there's a lot of stuff you can do on it.

you'll get through a day.

in the first couple days your battery will drain fast, but that's because you'll be playing with the phone non-stop :p

there is quite a large speed difference (hardware wise) b/t a bb and a droid/incredible. they will use more power. you're also powering a larger screen that is also a touch screen.

i could get a day and a half on my droid if i used it moderately.

they also charge fast, so if you can plug it in here and there it helps a lot.

Thanks for the responses I ended up sending back my Droid and went with the Incredible. I figured in the long run I 1.) Get the latest and greatest thing(as of now :P) 2.) The internals are just BA compared. Once again thank you for the advice.
