Is there an option or app like there is for the OnePlus 7 Pro that lights up the edges indicating there is a new message or alert?
Thanks,
Thanks,
My 1+7 pro lights up the edges briefly when notifications or call come inIs there an option or app like there is for the OnePlus 7 Pro that lights up the edges indicating there is a new message or alert?
Thanks,
samsung edge lighting, I use AODnotify to put notifications around the camera hole
Go to settings, Display, Edge Lighting Study your settings, there is a lot in there..
Not from the factory. Samsung removed the notification LED. I'm using an app called LED Me Know. The light isn't as bright as an LED, but it gets the job done.
Thanks for this. Actually, what I really want is a light that will continue to blink if a new text message or email message has arrived while my phone is on the charger. With my S9 phone, when it was on the charger, the light on the top left of screen would turn red for charging. But if a new message came in, the light would continue blinking green (I think). Is there something similar on the Note 10 for a continuous blinking alert light until the new message is read?
Thank you for the suggestion. I installed LED Me Know and carefully applied all instructions including turning on AOD, etc. But nothing seems to happen. Is there suppose to be a blinking light below the front camera lens? If so, I'm not getting it. Sometimes when I plug in the charging cord, there is a series of red LED blinking lights moving horizontally from left to right on top of the screen to let me know phone is charging. But that's about all I see.
I had to choose Note 10+ 5G to get the light positioned correctly. There is an issue with the Note 10's and the AOD that the developer is working on, but it still works if you move the location of the light.
Another vote for Led Me Know. Works perfectly on the Always On Display. And the developer is very responsive. Make sure you set the Led Me Know top position at around 150 in the settings so that it is displayed below the camera. (AOD Notify does not work properly for what you are looking for.)
How do I set to "top position"? What setting or screens do I go to for making adjustments? The app doesn't show any options for positions.
Open app, tap on top left 3 lines, baseline style, scroll down to customize, and adjust the top position. (Where it says Apply Preset, do not do anything so just leave it at Apply Preset.) If you touch the live preview on the top it will show you the actual LED placement. Then you can do the same with charging style.
