Individual settings within PowerSaver

The powersaver is set to come on at 20% vs 15% to delay an unexpected shut down.
How can individual apps be set up how frequently they sync/update when powersaver is active?

I would like the emails to keep coming through while powersaver sets back the usage of the weather and other apps.
