Info on the ZL's IR transmitter

There's a post up on Sony's Developers blog about the IR transmitter in the ZL; includes some screen shots of the remote control app and widget. Some interesting info (and some funny stuff, like "Prior to Xperia? ZL, the only way a smartphone could act as a universal remote was by using an IR dongle or other piece of external hardware." - uh, my old Treo's had it ).
