Initiated Return But Want To Keep It

Quick question. I initiated a return on Samsung.com but decided that I want to Leo the phone. I know I can just keep the phone but my trade in says "deferred" Samsung chat says I can still trade my phone in and that my Premium Care will stay active. But I don't always trust the samsung reps.

Anyone else have experience with this that could help?

You're right that reps' assurances are unreliable. I try to avoid voice communication and use online support chat instead, so there'll be written documentation of their promises.

Do you still have the trade in your possession?
I believe someone did something similar but I would get it in writing or some kind of confirmation.

I don't know about Samsung, but I had the same situation with Google, and no problem. They just canceled the return.

If you keep it, nothing changes. I did that a couple of years ago with them.
