Innova is what everyone was using to check for the recent update right? That's what I was using at least. After the update it no longer seems to be on my phone. Anyone else experience this?

Haven't tried it that way. I had an icon for it mixed in with all of the others listed alphabetically.

Ah, didn't know that I could do it that other way. Thanks!

Your Right the Icon is gone from my screen as well.

I noticed after the update last night I was missing an icon I just couldn't figure out which one. Now I know which one the innopath care.

You can still check for updates by going to home screen, menu, setting, about phone, system updates, check new.

Anyone else missing this icon? (I think it only shows if your using a 3rd party launcher I never saw it using touchwiz)

I'm using launcher pro and I don't have the icon. So the launcher must not affect it.

I still have it on one of my home screens, but it is gone from the application drawer.

If Innova Active Care is gone...that may mean that froyo is comming relatively soon. Samsung recently responded to the accusations that they are witholding Froyo in an article on CNET and part of their response was this:

"Samsung feels it is important to make the Android 2.2/Froyo upgrade available only after we feel that we can give the millions of U.S. Galaxy S owners a simple and reliable upgrade experience."

Maybe Innova was a problem?

My bet would be that the Innova software was part of the problem. They definitely made changes there in this update, and it stands to reason. Froyo coming to us soon? Stay tuned!

How would Innova be the problem? (I'm asking because I have no clue)

Umm, the software is still there, just the icon is gone. What do you think pops up when you check "about phone" settings "check for system updates"? Tap the "About" button. It says InnoPath Active Care!

I wonder if Kies now recognizes the fascinate. I kinda figured that 2.2 would come out via Kies. We just needed an update to make it happen.

Right. So how does that relate to the above post? They didn't get rid of the program as you said. Or did they just "fix" it?
