Input lag with PS4 controller/tablet connection.

I recently bought a PS4 DualShock 4 controller specifically to work with my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4). I am able to successfully connect the device via BlueTooth, but after mere moments, I have TREMENDOUS input lag. It gets so bad that I can input a button press and more than a second later the game will respond.

I have tried installing a program called "BlueTooth Auto Connect", but it has not helped (though it's probably not set up correctly).

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
