And anything else you can think of
It's a really good phone. It works perfectly with all of the smart phone features of Android. It is quite Internet-capable, for browsing, audio, video. The audio quality, especially with SRS is quite good. I no longer need a separate MP3 player. However, Nokia e72 wins in terms of RF reception, call quality, and battery life.

You're profession: Finance Manager in Corporate America

Smartphone phone history: Treo 650 (I think, it has been so long) to a Blackberry Curve to an iPhone 3G to the Inspire 4G

The phone you are or have switched from: Um, look up there ---/\

What's your favorite feature about the Inspire? Just about everything. Actually it is so good out of the box I am not even thinking about rooting it. I had to jailbreak my iPhone (which I still think is an awesome device) to have it feel as good to me as the Inspire.

Any disappointments? At first glance I had bt and battery issues. I have since learned how to correct the bt issues and am working on the battery. Have a higher capacity battery I am evaluating now and learning how to better use the device as well. For those who say you should not have to do this, well I had to do the same thing when I switched to the iPhone originally. I think all of us, when we first get a new phone, tend to use it more as we learn all it's nuances. Over time, your usage steps back to a more normal level and your battery life (at least with these big screen smartphones) seems to improve.

And anything else you can think of. Nope, that about covers it.

The phone you are or have switched from: 5 year old Motorola v3x dumbphone (to its credit, it survived being thrown against anything)
What's your favorite feature about the Inspire? The huge screen that manages to fit in my pocket okay, despite my initial concerns.
Any disappointments? The huge amount of crap apps that I can't remove

Hey guys, first post, just got my Inspire yesterday from AT&T. Probably wouldn't have gotten this phone if my mom didn't have AT&T service discount which makes AT&T pricing actually attractive. My second phone, first non-dumb-phone! Still in awe at the mobile internet capability...lol.

The huge amount of preinstalled junk is already pissing me off, so I'm going to try to get rid of them this week (spring break). I see there is this thing you can do called rooting...better get going on figuring this out.

Any disappointments? I was super scared to switch since I have been in iPhone world for nearly 5 years. I do really enjoy the phone though. I have only had it a week and a half, so I am still learning. Once I am able to figure it all out I am sure I will be 100% confident in my switch.

I bought my first smart phone(the treo) from evilbay and haven't bought a dumb phone since. Wanted a better phone and went with the E71 but missed the touch screen, I really did like the phone, but after 2 years went with a blackberry 8900 since my dad had one and it seemed better then the Nokia. Overall the BB was better but I did miss the Nokia at times. I just didn't like the lack of web browsing with the BB so when I was eligible for and upgrade I had to decide between the BB Torch, HTC Inpire, or the Motorola Axis. I have the Inspire now and really starting to like it!!!!

Hello all,
My name's Adam and i am an explosive detection canine handler. Basically, i walk around with a bomb dog all day. I'm here from bb. My first smartphone was a torch so i'm pretty new to the scene. before that I had a razr...remember when smaller was better? That said I love my inspire and am not lookin back. I don't really have any disappointments as i can live with the relative shortcomings that have been mentioned. I would like to understand the inner workings of the phone more and i know that these forums and google are a great resource but if anybody has anything more specific in mind please let me know. Thanks
