Instagram audio not working

[Android Central Question]

I just updated my Galaxy S9+ software a couple weeks ago to Pie and since then I noticed my Instagram audio doesn't work at all whatsoever. Not for posted videos, lives, ads, stories, or even they you are in the editing phase to create a post. It's only Instagram, I can't find an audio problem with any other app. I've tried everything. I've uninstalled it, restarted my phone, installed an older version of Instagram, checked that my ringer was on, volume up, press the tap for sound icon on the videos, background data turned on, in optimized battery, checked out Bixby, messed around with all settings imaginable and NOTHING. I've looked online but I don't see anyone with this problem so far this year. It's the most irritating thing!
If anyone else is experiencing this or knows the answer for the love of God please let me know!
