Instagram Auto-Rotates and Crop my photo

Hello,
I posted a photo on instagram last sunday and it all worked fine, until yesterday when i tried to upload another photo. Instagram auto-rotated my photo and only let me upload a part of my original photo.

Doesn't let me put the original photo, only a part of it.
Auto screen rotate is off.
I have both boxes unchecked in advanced settings.
My phone is G S4

What can i do? This thing is very annoying.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can really do about instagram cropping your pictures. That's the default format. As for the picture orientation, I realized that only happens when you take a picture vertically as opposed to landscape

i had the same issue. I have a samsung galaxy note 2. i think something happened this week. I uploaded my photo and used the rotate function on instagram to adjust it, since it uploaded sideways, it posted fine...upright. however, today when i looked at the same picture on instagram it was sideways!!!i dont get it. the filter was gone too....the one that auto-saved to my phone was fine. im not sure whats going on?

I noticed weird stuff happening with my IG too. I believe it upgraded the app this week.
