Instagram idle battery usage

I have a Pixel 7 Pro and have set Instagram to Restricted mode so it doesn't run in the background but in the battery usage I still see it using the most battery.

How to completely switch it off so it's draining the battery when I'm not using it?

After setting it to restricted did you allow one full battery charge cycle to see if it's still reporting high?
