Instagram new look..

Instagram is not for everyone but Im quite into photography so I enjoy posting the odd photo on there. Recently they tried changing the theme of the app to a black and white look.

The strange thing is, I get the new look on my old xperia z2 but not on my new phone (s7 edge). Also Facebook just rolled out live video streaming which my Xperia z2 gets but my newer phone doesn't. What's the deal? Does anyone know why they do this?

I heard instagram started to roll out new visual updates to several users. But not to all yet.

Yeah they did. But my account is the same on both devices. It must mean it's down to the device on how it updates. Strange really because I thought the s7 edge would update first.

It could also be down to the software each phone is running. How are you finding the new design anyways?

I still have the old look. Hopefully I do not get the new look because it is really devoid of color. Seems like a step back in design in my opinion.

The xperia z2 is running lollipop and edge is marshmellow.

I like the newer design to be fair, it's just cleaner.

I did not think I was going to like the new design but once I got the update it grew on me.

I prefer the old look But the black&white style has been in use on my iphone. T^T And the new icon?! Not a fan :'(
