Why does posting pictures on instagram turned out to be pixelated and not high quality? I'm using the AT&T model if that makes any difference. I come from an iPhone 5 and pictures don't get downgrade once you post then on instagram.

I'm assuming you're using the most updated version of Instagram? Prior to the most recent update, every time I uploaded a picture, it would show as a blank solid color. They fixed that with the latest update.

As you can see in the pictures, the one on the left looks more sharp around the hour before posting it to instragram. Then look at the right one when its posted on instagram how it loses sharpness. That doesn't happen when I upload pictures using my iPhone 5.

Barely noticeable, but I see it. I never had issues with my iPhone either.....and it was the iPhone 4. Interesting.....

are you taking the photos with your camera app and then importing into instagram? if not, it might be the actual instagram camera app that causes the problem?

Go into instagram settings and there is an advanced part, in there uncheck something about quality of the pictures and your problem will be fixed

I don't seem to have this issue. Images look identical (sharp) with both "Use High-Quality Image Processing" checked (default) and unchecked.

I've noticed this too, some people say it's an android issue that has been fixed. I find it super annoying coming from iPhone 5. I have the Use High-Quality Image Processing checked and still looks like crap.

edit.. i didn't read the previous post correctly. i'm going to try to uncheck it and see how it goes.

Yeah it pretty much fixes the problem if you uncheck it
