Hi all, I've been looking but couldn't find anything on this. Sorry if it's already been discussed.

I'm trying to find out how/if I can install the "stock" Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) onto my Nook color.

I know that sounds lame to not want CM7 or Honeycomb, but I want consistency with my phone, which I'm not going to root. (It's using the stock 2.3.3 Android OS.)

Thanks!

Do you mean it's as close to stock that's available? Because it's quite different from the version of Android that is on my HTC.

The android on your HTC is pretty far from stock android. It has HTCs Sense UI and is pretty much as far from android you can be while still using android. Cm7 is basically stock with a lot more options plus tablet tweaks.

Okay, that makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

CM7 Nightlies is the way to go...I just did it and it's awesome! Took half an hour tops. Including updating from backup using Titanium.
