beats audio which comes stock on my HTC will mess up an optimus elite royally. there is a slight chance to restore your elite to stock but it will involve much on your end. you will need to root your phone via the jcase root method and it may or may not work depending on whether or not your PC will detect the phone properly from recovery mode. and you will need your devices msl code. you can obtain that by calling VM and telling them you keep getting an error 67 on your phone. they will walk you through some junk for your phone then give you the six digit number. play along and get the code then hang up. you will also need to familiarize yourself with using command line functions using the Google android development kit which will install adb,etc on your PC(you'll need to open SDK and download the platform tools then your set on that). long drawn out and no guarantee it will work considering your stuck in a beats audio related boot loop. Google "jcase root method optimus elite" to get started. or you can see if VM will replace the phone and never install beats audio again.
Beats is good if your phone can handle it, but bricking is a risk....lol i literally just got back from Walmart after messing up my Kyocera rise, they traded me no charge for the optimus elite I'm on now. Volume+ works well on thus phone, I'm sticking with it.
