Installing micro sd card

I have installed a micro sd card on my tab a,I have a message stating unsupported sd card. And a header saying touch to set up in a supported format. When I touch the screen dissappears. I am using a SanDisk ultra 32gb

Could be a defective card. If you have a camera that uses SD cards, plug the card in the adapter and then in the camera to see if it works. I have Samsung 32gb microSd in my Tab A and it works fine. Bought it at Wal-Mart for $8.95.
