Instragram Video - Blurry, Squished and very low quality (example inside)

Hi all, not sure if anyone has been having this same issue. But whenever I try to take video with the new Instagram Video feature, everything looks so blurry, very low quality, and squished. This happens in the preview mode and even after processing. I am not sure if they are working on fixing this, but after 2 recent updates its still not fixed. I am worried because I tried to search this problem on Google and the forums but no one seems to have this problem.

I am having the same situation with a Galaxy S3....

Just installed latest version of stock 4.2.2 for S3, and the recording video on instagram is HD as it should be...

I'm with Nexus 4. Instagram takes videos with a resolution of 640x640. That is why everything looks low res and aliased. How do you fix this? How do you take HD video? I see no setting that allow this.
