I left my new Note alone to charge yesterday with no issue.

Today I am using it while it's charging and the power keeps cutting in and out. It's fine if I don't use the phone?!

Any thoughts would be welcomed? I have only downloaded say 40 apps (all mainstream) and the phone works perfectly.

Thanks in advance.

To be honest I'm guessing here but maybe a bad charger or charging port? Years back i had a Motorola phone that had a bad charger. Every time I moved phone it would stop charging and then start charging again. But I still had power tho. Hope you find a solution to your issue.

Are you using the cable that came with the phone?

Yes, all out of the box. I will try another charger at some point. It's unlikely to be a software issue then?

Sorry another question - do you reboot the phone by holding power and volume button down? And when should you do this?

It could be your charger, the charging port or the cord.

I would see about trying a new Samsung charger at Best Buy or maybe at your carrier.

I have had a bad cord do the same on my Note 5.

Ok, so it seems the power bar in my kitchen is the culprit as charging from another socket without issue. Thanks For thoughts though.
