Intermittent incoming calls go to voicemail

Phone is ringing, when I answer the call there's silent on both ends and caller is getting forward straight to voice mail.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you answering quickly, or is it ringing a few times before you answer? When this happens, check your signal strength -- if it's weak, it might have trouble connecting.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, I answer quickly and yes, there's signal (something like 3 lines). I even returning the call from same spot and it's connecting just fine.
I tried to get help from carrier (verizon) but they are completely useless and trying same troubleshooting steps over and over like resetting network setting, etc. Bluetooth and do not disturb are off, also replaced sim card and none solved the issue.

It's like the weirdest thing. Every time that it happens the call timer runs like there's a call and when hanging up, it takes about 30 seconds to make end of call sound and show call on recent calls log

Is this a Verizon S7, or did you bring it over from another carrier?

Got it brand new from Verizon about a year ago

How often does this happen? If it's fairly frequent (i.e., at least once a day), you could try booting into Safe Mode to see if the problem is due to something you installed: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28008
