Hi after restoring a backup to my Note 9 I have a file named SD Card Restored. Is this the file that has been left behind after the restored backup. If so do I need to keep it or is it ok to delete as to free up memory.
I have a Restored directory under /DCIM, so I think that's for photos that you sent to the Trash in Google Photos, and then subsequently restored from the Trash. Is your Restored directory a subdirectory of the /DCIM directory on the SD card?
If not, different apps create different directories, some of which we may not be aware of. Check the size of the file (if it's huge, it could be the backup, if it's 0, it could be there as a reminder that the SD card has been restored - in which case, deleting it won't free up anything but a slot in a directory).
As always, if in doubt, copy it to Drive before deleting it, just in case you find out later that you need it.
