I have a Galaxy S8 with 64g internal memory, of which 37g is in use. I'll be upgrading to an S9+ which I expect to keep for several years - just wondering if it's worth paying extra for 128g. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I don't see any way to reply to answers or add another comment, so I'll just add here that the additional cost for 128g is probably around $80

Probably not. You can use Google to store your stuff in the cloud so all that stuff is pointless now a days.

Depends how much extra you'll spend?

If you are going to keep it several years, future updates will fill up the free memory. In fact, the new S9 will probably already come with the Pie update. I think $80 will be a decent cost to "future proof" the new S9.

I had 64GB on my old S6 and it was within 1.5GB of being full. I'm glad I went with 128 on my S9 plus a 128GB card.
