Internal storage is full yet phone storage is empty

[AC Question]

Hey guys!I've recently bought a Doogee dg700 .It has 8 gb and the system takes up about 1,6 GB.The rest is split up into 2: the phone's internal storage is about 1.5 GB and the phone storage is 4.5 gb.All my apps install on the internal storage which was full in a few minutes after installing some regular apps like chrome,fb etc.How can i possibly install apps on the phone storage as well? Or as recent phones now have,just get one partition?I would prefer not to root it as i'm a newbie.I just want to use all the storage to install apps.An SD card didn't help much.Milliion thanks
