how to connect to internet after wi fi turned on and usb connected, new to this forum and new to using tablet, please help. the tablet is ematic,genesis-egl26bl,my wi-fi is apple

Welcome to Android Central! You don't need to be connected via USB in order to access the internet. If your tablet's wifi is turned on, you still need to select a wifi network to connect to. Tap your Menu button, then Settings/Wireless, tap on Wi-Fi, and select the Wi-Fi network that belongs to you. Enter your network's password, if any, and then it should connect.
