Internet doesnt open last page anymore?!

If i close the internet on my s3 and then reopen, it opens my homepage rather than the last page/s i had open? It used to do it, but i had to restore to factory settings and now it closes all my tabs and opens google? Soooo annoying! Iv tried changing all the memory settings and it still does it?
Any ideas?

The standard one that came with the phone. I havent changed it since iv had the phone, but for some reason restoring to factory settings has knocked it out of sync :s

chrome you could try. it has an option when you open it you see webpages you go often. might be 6 or 8 on page. then just click site.

i looked at stock browser settings and there is no option. that option should be there.

Maybe i will have to try a different browser was hoping not to but i cant find a way to fix it!

How are you "closing" the Internet app - pressing the Home button? using a different Launcher feature to switch to another app that's running in the background?
When you reopen it, it's just from a shortcut on one of your Home pages or from the Dock?
If I use the Home button to switch to the Home page and then launch Internet again it takes me directly to the Web page that I was on last.

Once you close it using the Home button, then long press on the Home button to get into the Task Manager and tap the browser, it will open to the last page opened.

I'm having the same problem. Not sure when it started. I can't figure it out either. If you go and do anything else, phone call or text it brings you back to the home page and you lose everything you were doing. No one has an answer for this?

It's hard for me to give you an answer when I'm not having the problem.
I just went to https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...3A%2F%2Fwww.roku.com%2Fsupport&token=fIkS5Bqr using the Internet app and scrolled around. Then I pressed the Home button and sent a TM using the stock Messaging app. Then I selected the Internet app from the app drawer and it returned me right to where I was.
What model/carrier/firmware are you running?
Have you done a Factory Reset after receiving the latest OTA?

I had this problem myself, and just fixed it. It was a user error. Being a paranoid mofo, I went thru all options in the phone and forgot I had set a Developer mode option- "Destroy all actions when user leaves them". I unchecked that...and wahlah! Broswers don't get destroyed when I leave them LOL.

I signed up for this site just to help out. I was very frustrated when I cojldnt find any answers on google and this was the only forum even mentioning the issue. So.. hope it helps someone, at least.
