Hi everyone,

Been reading the forums for the last few days and thinking seriously about making the jump from iOS over to the Android world. Been using iPhones for the last 4 years with one stint last year with the GS2. Didn't really like Touch-whiz but with the release of the GNex and ICS I've been really really interested. Bought my GNex last night from Amazon (absolutely couldn't pass up the deal they had on Verizon). So far, been really impressed with the amazing knowledge base here and I look forward to learning how the Android world really does work.

Thanks guys, now I must wait another two weeks before getting my hands on the phone and really diving in. Can you guys recommend any must have apps that I can look into whilst I wait?

Apps is basically all up to your own individual tastes. You said your getting the Galaxy Nexus, I just happen to know that one of my fellow advisers will have a new "Workaroun Guide" up very soon listing all known to date work arounds and solutions/suggestions for use with the Galaxy Nexus. This will be a valuable guide when it gets posted.. Keep an eye out for it in the Galaxy Nexus General Section.
