Introducing Me - New to Android

Hi All,

Just unboxed my new Motorola RAZR HD LTE on the Rogers network here in Canada. I'm pretty excited. I've been a long time BlackBerry user and am looking forward to my first experience with Android.

I'll be very interested in this forum to learn all about how I can use Android for business and productivity (as well as play!)

Out of curiosity, why didn't you go with the Z10?

Great question, especially given that I own a PlayBook (early adopter).

I considered the Z10 long and hard, and in the end, I felt that I would regret my decision. It's a brand-new OS, and developer community support is minimal at this stage. My smartphone is used for both work and pleasure, so having a great app store with an excellent selection is important to me. With the Z10, there are just too many "wait and see's" and "buts" at this stage.

As for my choice of the RAZR HD - it was simply long battery life. I'm tired of mid-day charges and mid-evening shutdowns when I'm not close by a charger.
