I am a new Android 2.2 user, on Virgin Mobile, with a LG Optimus V phone. I'm busy making notes from this and other places where people comment on Android experiences (and, more particularly, LG Optimus V and Virgin Mobile experiences). My son has the latest Apple I-Phone (on AT&T), so I'm somewhat familiar with what these Smart phones can do.
I have been a Palm user for some time and am currently using a Palm Tungsten E2. To keep that going I've replaced two screens (digitizers) and have bought several extras on Ebay. I'll see if I get "weaned" from that and move completely to the Android platform.
My son jumped into the HP Touchpad "craze" (price lowered to $99) at the tail end and thinks that he has snagged three. If those show up he and I will be exchanging notes on how to use that as well.
