Introducing The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700

Maybe he has a family

And I've been hearing June 25th...you really think so at this point? It's getting a little late for Asus to just throw it out there. I really wish they just would though..I want to buy this thing

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF-700-T: Review roundup (and release date) | Computerworld Blogs

[It's] the first member of the TF series with a 1920 x 1200 display. [And] the first tablet we've tested to use NVIDIA's higher binned Tegra 3 T33 SoC. ... Transformer Pad Infinity comes in at $499 for the 32GB model.
...
[A]vailability isn't scheduled until around July 16th. Quantities are unknown...and will likely be gated by panel availability.

Review: Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Android Tablet

The best of the bunch is Asus? latest, the new flagship Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, which becomes available on July 16 and follows the Transformer Prime and the Transformer Pad, both of which arrived earlier this year.

I've seen this as well, but Phil pointed out that Asus never confirmed or denied the date. I'd give it a guess that it'll be AROUND the July 16th date, maybe that week or the next.
I don't know about you guys, but it looks incredibly promising, especially from the reviews I've seen. I also liked to see that it wipes the floor with the new iPad

Hmm.. nexus 7 or the infinity. I'm only going to pick one though the nexus is only $200 it has jb on it and who knows when the infinity will get the jb update. Damn decisions decisions

Hardware over software? Well that's always tough since software can be changed and the best hardware never has the best software. But expect a JB update soon after the source is released

If the software is stable and the hardware can be reliable (don't make the same mistake as the Prime, Asus), with all the fast updates, Asus can really either take over the Android game with not only tablets, but phones or they will force other brands to push out updates quicker. Either way, they are really making a name for themselves.

With no sd card slot the nexus is too hard for me to say yes to. I really like what asus did the the 700 and cannot wait for release. JB or not, I believe is is till going to be a great tab.

Called my local BestBuy just for fun. She told me they expect to release them sometime next week. Then I called another one in Colorado. Although not on their website or computer system, she checked with the laptop department there. Told me the drop date is July 15th, but no guarantees since that depends on Asus. No pre-ordering available, just keep checking back in another week or two.

Preordered a TF700 64 from jr.com on Sunday, but its no longer coming up in their search results today.

hopefully this wont be happening here [in USA] and it stays the week of July 16th!

Article link in blue below..

ASUS delays Transformer Pad Infinity, raises price
Transformer Pad Infinity won't hit the shelves until August and will retail for $999 in Australia
ASUS delays Transformer Pad Infinity, raises price - Ice Cream Sandwich, Android tablets, Asus Transformer, ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, asus, tablets - Good Gear Guide

I saw this yesterday, the delay is for Australia right now. Same with the price boost.

I hope they don't go overboard with pricing, I don't think I want a tablet that cost more than my laptop which was $800.

I'm pretty sure in the US that it'll be $500 for the 32GB model.

With the keyboard add on it still comes out to be 650 or 750 depending which model you buy. If they sell combo units will they make the price any lower or no?

Anyone that pays retail in general is just a sucker anyway. Hop on slickdeals.net, set a deal alert for "transformer infinity" and wait.

I haven't heard about combo unit prices...I have heard that a lot of the combo units that people have in other countries already are coming with TF201 docks instead of the TF700 ones. They're basically the same thing, so it's not a big deal.
