Short introduction. Android user, Engineer (independent contractor) and motorcycle enthusiast. Just going thru this thing called life trying to survive and have fun.
I am a tweaker and hacker from way back when the 8-86 was the stuff! I did melt my fair share of CPUs hence the nick. The last phone I hacked was the old HTC XV6800. I got pretty good at building ROMS for it and recovering from errors.
I bought one of the first droids and it finally gave up the ghost on 9/23/11. I replaced it with a Droid Bionic and I am interested in rooting it but am very apprehensive about doing it as I have read some horror stories and I depend on my phone for work 20-30 calls a day. I am here to learn so I may ask stupid questions from time to time so bear with me. I do know how to use the search feature and I use it alot.
