Invalid Recipient Problem

Hello all. I am in the UAE. I am new to the Samsung Android family. I switched from an iPhone 6 to an S7 Edge. I am liking it so far. But today I got this message of Invalid Recipient when I went to use SMS. I looked online and found some resolutions for the S6 and older. The extensions listed for those phones don't exist on this version of Android. I used the unpaid version of Root Explorer to try and find it with no luck. Anyone have a solution? Also if anyone has any input of the paid vs. free Root Explorer I would appreciate it.

Sometimes invalid recipient shows up if you were trying to send a text to to a landline or invalid phone #.
Are your numbers in your contacts formatted properly? Try formatting with no spaces or characters.
Try clearing cache for your texting app.

Yes. They are correct. I had sent texts to the same numbers on this phone before. Now they don't work.

Clearing my data in application manager for messages worked for me but there are a few other solutions.
