That makes sense, or maybe they'll say the have less than they really do... For the sake of marketing, you know how it goes.

I think there will be plenty. They sold a boatload of the original Droid's, and to my knowledge never ran out of stock. HTC, on the other hand, seems to have major production issues with almost every high end phone they've sold, that didn't coincide with the release of the original Droid.

I have been thinking about this actually because I remember Droids always being in stock. But do remember, Android is much more popular and more advertised than it was last fall. More people are going to want this phone on day 1 than did the Droid. It's a tough comparison because the Droid came out closer to the holidays, but I think increased public awareness of Android as a legit OS is going to make this phone move faster.

good find....at least they are increasing the wherehouses with inventory which bodes well for online/phone orders. i'm sure more stores will get inventory as well especially since we are still 2 days out.

Me too! I really hope I don't pull into the parking lot and find a line of people outside the store. I have been debating with myself about the acceptable level of ridiculousness I will allow regarding the early arrival time Thursday morning. At this point...I'm pretty ok with being ridiculous in the morning and COOL in the afternoon

I got on a waiting list last week for the Droid X and I just got a call from my local Verizon store that they're going to hold one for me and I have an appointment to pick it up on Thursday afternoon after work.

Yes. Don't worry about it. If you are one of the first to order, there is almost zero chance you won't get it on Friday. I've played this game several times with Verizon and they are awesome about fulfilling orders, in my experience. Also everything ships out of Ontario, California and is next day delivery.

Thanks Cory....question for you, when you ordered your Incredible online did you add in accessories as well and still recieve next day? I'm looking to add in the desktop charger for the X, and was wondering if that could potentially delay my order. Any insight on your Incredible order w/ accessories or not would be helpful.

I always ordered my accessories after the fact. If I were you, I would place 2 orders. You will get free overnight shipping on both anyways. Also, if you order a battery, make sure you try the BAT30 coupon code.

I am paying full price for my phone. Should I get it at a Verizon store or BB? Will BB even sell me one if I'm not changing my contract? Lastly, if I get it at BB, can I still return it if it is defective through Verizon, or do I have to go straight to Motorola?

if you are paying full price it really doesn't matter. i'd just go to verizon, although i'm more comfortable with spending $500 or whatever it is in BB
