iOS > Android - list of essential Android apps to get iOS functionality out of Android again?

I just made the switch to Android (Galaxy S3) and of course a lot of Samsung's stock software is crap which will need to be replaced by superior 3rd party solutions. Is there a list out there of the best apps to download for getting back up to speed with atleast similar functionality I was getting on iOS like a decent clock, decent e-mail, calendar, calculator, etc. I've done some hunting and it's of course hit and missing find decent 3rd party apps to replace these Apple apps I've gotten used to so if someone's already gone through this it would be great to hear your thoughts! Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can safely say in 4 years I've used the iPhone clock app a total of 4 times.
