.... and i am in such turmoil over which hand set to get, either the One or the S4.

anyone else in a similar state? i change my mind every time i read a good or bad thing about either phone.

I will be a noob to Android but i am pretty much sold on it, iOS is getting stale, WP is too far behind in terms of apps although i do think the OS is slick.

I was on the brink of getting an S4 yesterday then i found a thread on lag and also it only seems available in a 16GB version in the UK (when will the 32 & 64 be out?). I like the airview etc but will i really use it? and do i need a video to pause if i look away? i often get distracted but i am happy to listen to a video while i briefly look away for example.

I do love the One's build and Blinkfeed, looks similar to live tiles on the WP.

Any advice on either phone will be gratefully received. Thanks.

Lol I'm in the same exact situation except I'm almost positive ill get the gs4 over the htc1, I have Nokia lumia 920 and battery been crappy so I'm trying to see if gs4 battery is any better and how much better than the 920.

I am reading mixed things on the Ones battery on a thread here. To be honest i am happy if i get though morning to night time with one charge. I will be rarely in a situation where i wont have access to charge it. So if it lasts up to 24 hours with medium use thats fine in my book.

I don't know about the One, but I have an S3, and I can make it about 15 hours on a single charge, and that is only going as low as about 25% remaining. And that includes playing games that are heavy with video, and processing on my lunch break. Since the S4 battery is bigger, you should be able to go morning to night easily. In fact, some of the battery posts I have seen showed a fair amount of people going about 18 hours on a charge.
