IPhone 6/6+ converts?

How does the S6 battery compare to the Iphone6? Marking the same switch and wondering if I'll be ok on battery

had an iPhone 6 64gb, wanted to see what all of the hype was about good phone, great apps no complaints but I missed Android and my LG G3.
Saw the S6 Edge and that was that - I now have a 64gb Edge, gave my daughter my iPhone6 and everyone is happy

for me...on Verizon....the battery is not close. iphone6 trumps the edge. I still love the phone and will most likely keep it hoping that they will fix the cel standby issues.... having used android prior and going to iphone 6....i realized that Android is better for me and this phone makes it even more so.

I haven't had a day where I'm about all day not near a charger so I can't say if I will actually have a problem with the battery as I'm either at work or home near a charger.

I came back to Andoid from an iPhone 6 plus 16gb after I drop my phone and cracked my screen. I didn't have Apple care and it by the time I took the phone in for repair, the screen was shattered. Paid the $130 to fix it but the I started eyeing the s6 edge. Once I noticed that Samsung had finally gotten rid of most of the stuttering and the OS was for the most part as smooth as butter, I made my way back to Android.

What I will miss about the iPhone is some the apps that have not made it's way to Android. I'm a law student and I use some study aids that aren't on Android, based on the pastime experience I had my Galaxy Note 3. Please note that I long stopped being a fan of the iPhone when the iOS changed to rendered Kindergarten looking themes. Then when iPhone 6 came out, I was completely done with the iPhone. I don't like the design of the phone but because it did offer smoothness I took the plunge and brought the iPhone 6 plus.

Former S6 owner here, I reverted back to my 6+ as the battery life and lag on the S6 was just too much for me.

That display and camera might just be enough for me to buy it again LOL

I converted from a 6 plus to a note 4 to a s6 edge..

To be honest the superior phone was the note 4 minus the poor camera everything is what you would want in a modern smart phone. The multitasking makes you forget about a computer or tablet. The resolution in 4k is awesome.. The s pen.. Removable battery and SD card.. What more can you want...

S6 edge the only thing better I see and notice is the camera and the design..

I'm not a convert but using with my iPhone 6+. Everyone around here knows I jump back and forth all time. Having skipped the S5 last year I thought the edge was compelling enough to try. And I'm not disappointed very good device. Samsung best device in my opinion. I'll still hold on to my iPhone because sooner or later I'll getting bored and want to switch back lol.

I agree with a lot of people here about the battery life it isn't in the same league as the iPhone 6/+ regardless of how much you try to mitigate or tweak it and the OS/System software updates are far and few inbetween. However, with built-in wireless charging it pretty much mitigates that issue for me as I now have a wireless charging stations wherever my phone is idle for long periods of time (i.e. car, office, etc.) so my phone battery life for me is a non-factor and for long periods of travel away from an outlet my laptop or portable battery pack mitigates that issue for me.

I left the iPhone 6+ for the Gold s6 edge. I like the device. My problem is the apps. The iPhone in my opinion has more apps and the apps run better. Games look and run better on the iPhone thanks to metal. I'll definitely be getting the iPhone 6s plus or whatever they are gonna name it. The quality of this s6 edge is awesome, I just wish the apps matched the quality of the iPhone. Just my opinion.

Coming from iPhone 6 and hated it!
S6 is a little bigger much better screen. Have not had the phone long enough to test battery yet but never really maters with the fast charger and back up battery pack by Zapp on Amazon.

Camera on the Edge is better.

iPhone is a joke with lagging text and worse with blue tooth Power wireless Beats connected.

S6 is fast and smooth! Dont use the the stock app for texting, like Handcent much better https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...?id=com.handcent.nextsms&hl=en&token=UUdK-Fw5

Last Facetime was ok but didnt have an option to talk to android friends. Facebook messenger now has video so its a great replacements and now you can video chat android to apple!

Comming from Iphone 5s.

I really love the S6 edge but the battery is soo bad. after 3-4 hours I lose like 10-20% and I have only listend a bit and used a bit of instagram.
Even so the edge need so much tweaking, turning like everything off.
With iphone I leave everything on, wifi, GPS location thingie and so on..
I kinda regret the switch but the same time I really love the edge, such beautiful phone and display.

Dunno if it was worth the switch. if the cost of battery to have a swagger phone is worth..

Switched from the iPhone 6 to the edge. I still have my iPhone 6 though. I like to switch back and forth. So far I find the edge to be a great device and for now I haven't even thought about the iPhone. Time will tell though.

I have the exact same situation....

I had an iPhone 4, an iPhone 4s, an iPhone 5, and an iPhone 5s. when the iPhone 6 was released and all they announced was that it was bigger I decided I was absolutely done with Apple. I bought a Nokia Lumia icon. As much as I loved it I ended up replacing it with the s6 edge

I had the 6+. Got the S6 Edge twice and both times it had issues. First was the rotation problem and the second one was shutting off every couple of mins. So I went back to the 6+. This week, I decided to give the S6 Edge another try. So far this third one has been good and hopefully it will stick.

I bought the edge had bluetooth problems. I took it back got an iPhone 6 plus. It's was getting stuck in landscape mode. Missed the camera and processor speed of the s6 edge. I got the edge again. I am now rooted and not looking back.
