iPhone 6+ - Should I try out the Galaxy line for a Galaxy S6 Edge+?

I've been contemplating trying out the Galaxy S6 edge plus for a while. A buddy of mine has offered to swap phones. He only has the 32 GB version and that is a little concerning, but the commercials Samsung is producing really have me interested in trying it out. I'm using a Mac and iPad, but really only want to be able to text from my computer, which Samsung allows.

This will be my daily driver and the only phone I have. I use email, phone, texting, Google Eco system for work files and iTunes for music and video. I'm not big on apps unless they are delta, hertz and Hilton. I mainly use the phone for work and not play. I've been frustrated with Siri and lack of volume for phone calls. Hoping this phone might be a better option.

I'm going to but a new phone eventually, but my wife and I just adopted our son and I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money. This is a straight up swap.

having owned a Samsung and an iPhone, I think it is a fair swap. As long as the Samsung is on 6.0.1 already, I think you should be sweet.

They had battery issues before...have these been addressed?

Go for it Hehe! The SgS6 Edge is good choice. I own a SGs7 and didn't get
the Gs7Edge 'cause its size. The new Gs7+Gs7Edge it got removed
features by Marshmallow. Haven't heard big issues on battery life
