i have a iphone 7 plus on att. i assume it is "locked" but i want to get an one plus 5. will i be able to take out the sim and pop it into the one plus 5 and be good to go? thanks
I did have an issue with my sim moving from my iphone 5s to the OP3 last year. I ended up in the ATT store with a couple of their staff assisting until we got the sim actually unlocked in their system and registered as an LTE-capable device. After that I had some issues where data would randomly get turned off on the OP3 itself. That mysteriously went away. Not sure if ATT or OP made some changes but I have had no issues whatsoever with the service in several months.
i have seem some people post having issues getting lte on att after popping in a sim. i just want to not have that problem. i know when i popped the sim from my iphone into a moto z that i own it worked fine and got lte. is it safe to assume that the one plus 5 will pick up the lte just like the moto z did and not have issues? thanks
Wow, can they actually (legally and technically) lock a SIM card to a particular phone ?!
As far as I know, phones are locked to a network, that I can understand.
But SIM locked to phone ?!
