iPhone converts

I got one of the first S4 on the 23rd when they came out with Verizon and I love mine, I converted from a Iphone 4. I like the Apple products at first, have a One Touch, Ipad2 and the Iphone, my wife also had all three. But she now has the S3 and I have the S4 and we both love ours and do not plan on going back. I started to loose my Apple love when they changed the power cord on the Ipad and the new Iphone for no really good reason and did not go with the industry standard. IMHO they did it just to get more money out the people. And now that I have been trying to convert over it seems that Apple goes out of its way to make it almost impossible to get the movies and music that you pay for to put it on other devices. The way that I found that worked the best was to copy it out of your Itunes libary and put it on a storage device, then close Itunes and install the music to your music and video libary, your computer will convert them for regular use. Had no problems when I did it that way. I tried the SamsungSmartSwitch site with no luck, I think Apple changed some of their encryption so it will not work. Boy, now I am starting to sound like it is some conspiracy or something. :) Anyway I do not think I will be going back to Apple and for the record I think this S4 is 10 times better that the Iphone is

I switched over from an iPhone 4s, and was super nervous. But I am absolutely in love with android and all the features. Took some getting use to, but I can't get over how customizable it is! I also feel like there is a conspiracy with Apple though haha, I have had such trouble transferring over some of my stuff, even after using Samsung's specific website. Oh well!

I am another recent convert (less than 72 hours with Android) and I LOVE it and I have no desire to go back to Apple, even if they make a bigger phone.

I believe doing research on this forum before buying my phone was a really big help in my transition (as well as decision to switch over). I posted about my transition here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one/287390-ios-my-rear-view-mirror.html#post2847999

However, I consider myself tech savvy since I work in the field and all things technology is my hobby. I love tinkering with my phone so I feel like the Android OS was made for people like me. :)

Also, I think that Touchwiz would probably be one of the harder Android launchers to get used to from apple, based on my research.

Having a GS4 I miss my iphone 5,,,, if I had another iphone 5, I would miss my GS4.

Love them both

Cheers

Congrats! But be advised that iRS is real and a danger to you for several weeks.

This is iphone relapse syndrome. I have seen it happen many times. Stay on your guard!

I dunno, I was pretty sure I wasn't going back to using an iPhone as my daily driver any time ever in the first three days. I'll probably have an iPod Touch on hand to play my iOS exclusive games, but as for phones for daily use? I think it's Android from here on out.

My Husband and I are both iPhone converts. I got the S4 last week and my Husband got the S3 a month ago. We both LOVE it.

Like other people I also found that researching the phone and Andriod made the transition so much better. We went into it knowing it wasn't an iPhone, but that if there was any feature of the iPhone we wanted we could probably find an app for it. I love having choices.

I picked up the iPhone the other day and could not get over how tiny the screen was.

I can't see myself going back to iPhone, even if they came out with a bigger screen.

I like my s4 however with ios7 I am feeling drawn back to an iPhone. I love all the customization of the s4 but sometimes it just feels like too much. Like there are so many customization options that I spend too much time constantly changing the look and feel of android. I dunno if I am going to stick with this s4 or not.
