iPhone fast charge is a joke

This is not to start a battle. I own an S8 Plus, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus. I'm not going to argue about the fast charge of an Android over an iPhone. Hands down my S8 Plus will charge twice as fast as my iPhone 8 Plus. What I will state is that Apple has never made a claim that their fast charge is as quick or quicker than any Android.

As for crappy screens we are all entitled to our opinions and I'll respect yours. As I hope you will mine. I find both the android and iPhone screens both high quality. The android screen is bright and very saturated which looks really good when defining colors. I find the iPhone to be more natural looking. Easier on the eyes.

I use both android and iPhone OS for specific reasons. I like Android for the availability of apps. I like iOS for its ease of use and cross platform compatibility. Both my android and iphone are of the highest quality. Thanks!

On default settings yes. But when you set the screen mode of Samsung's to basic, you get easier less punchy and more natural colors similar to that of an iPhone LCD.

Understatement. to say an Iphone is overpriced junk is well childlike.

It is when you look at the value compared to the Note 8 or s8. Especially iPhone X.

Note yes is overpriced as well at $930 but still provides more overall value.

....I just can't see why anyone pays for this overpriced junk with crappy screen.

I'd rather have an S7 Edge than the iPhone 8.

It's called preference. If someone prefers an iPhone then let them be. If you don't like one then be happy with Android. There is no need to mock someone over their choice. I currently use an iPhone 7 and a Note 8, and I'm happy with both as both have their strong points and weak points.

It also sounds like you probably thought that if you bash an iPhone in an Android forum, you will be praised. Sorry!

Once Apple started selling phones with a screen larger than a match box, I gave them fair consideration. Still discounted them every time.

Just thought people would be interested in this who can't decide still whether to buy a Note 8, S8 or an iPhone.

to be fair, even though they don't give you the charger in the box (I am not in any way defending that decision, it's a cheap and stupid one and yes I like Apple), the iPhone 8/8+/10 will charge faster than any current Samsung phone. A lot of youtube channels have shown this.

That said, I still prefer Android/Samsung's method because unlike iOS, it provides reassurance on the lock screen that it is in fact actually fast charging, at what percent the battery is, and how much time to a full charge. iOS doesn't provide any of this information and it's annoying.

Battery is smaller. Of course it will fill up faster.

The thing with Apple is that most people will just get an iPhone 8,because it's the newest one and not really care about the features. Unless it comes with a wireless charger most will not know that it works with a wireless charger. (until wireless chargers start showing up everywhere because it's now a ubiquitous iPhone thing) Likewise, if the power brick in the box doesn't fast charge it, they won't know any better to go out and but a separate charger.

I'm rather sure the OP isn't walking around berating iPhone users on the streets. He was just sharing his opinion and disdain for an inferior product that is marketed as a superior one. I believe this disdain comes from the snottiness that Apple conveys with lines like "this is the only OLED screen good enough to be in an iPhone" and similar comments, at least that's where my disdain comes from.

So, yes, OP comes on a forum for Android geeks and makes a comment to vent that feeling amongst others that might have the same opinion.

I don't know why anyone would pay $930 for the 256GB iPhone 8 Plus when they could get a fully-loaded Note 8 for the same price.

The mantra for Apple that "It just works" is tired and needs to die. My Note 8 "just works" right out of the box, so...yeah.

I agree. Also, I don't need to buy special adapters and such. Plus usually after a couple months they run deals on the Galaxy line anyway, while Apple usually doesn't. I think Apple runs a percent off sale every once in awhile on their ipads and mobile devices but not often.

When I see bashing threads like this, it shows insecurities. Similar to social media memes that triggers people when it was not directed at them. People act like Apple did something bad to them or their family. I just don't understand. Just be happy with what you purchased and stop justifying it by bashing another brand.

Because it's what they like. Why do some people prefer Ford over Chevy or vise versa? Why doesn't everyone style there hair the same? It's just all personal preference.

We are minority on this forum. The majority couldn't care less about customizing or even using a quarter of the feature on Android devices. Majority of consumers use there smartphones for calls, photos, social media and texting. That's it.
