Iphone guy

Thank you everyone for all the positive feedback! I am excited for the Ultra!! I loved my note 1 and 2 and so on. It’s going to take time to adjust to Android again. Any good tools for iTunes music library ? I forgot what I used to use? Also anyone using any good apps for their MacBook of MacBook Air for Imessage and text messages that connect to their imac and MacBook? (work reasons)? I’m liking the galaxy watch 3! Just going to wait on my 21 day grace period before I make the final decision. Any other apps to help with my transition from Apple to android would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks everyone!!

When you say wait for the grace period you are admitting to yourself on the subconscious level you are still not convinced to stay with the Note. Make sure you are truly happy with the device and keep the one you know is best for you. I'm still making that decision but I'll admit with each day it's getting infinitely harder with the Note to go back to ios.

Last android I had was the pixel 3 and loved it! Last Samsung I had was I believe was the 7 curved?? Returned it because it was overheating but still loved it despite the fact. I’m sold just going to take sometime to adjust. It’s funny telling my friends I’m going back to android. It’s like I’m cheating on them ah ha!!

My husband came to Android (an LG G7 ThinQ) from an iPhone SE and he primarily uses Spotify.

I think as far as the transition is concerned, just be patient with yourself and give yourself a little while to adjust.

It's a smooth ride for the most part, but I'd also advise to not take on too much in one day - ie, organize your app folders and set a widget and then leave it for the day, to get used to things. I tried doing too much when I jumped from BlackBerry to Android years back and got overwhelmed because I wanted to customize everything right away. I'd just take it one step at a time. Excited for you to get your new phone! :)

Yes they have. Most of Samsung features are already ahead of Android feature updates.
Has Samsung improved their OS update times. That was the main reason that I left. I am used to getting updates immediately on iPhones and Pixels. I remember waiting for 7 months for my S7 Edge. Haven't bought a Samsung since.

Don't mean to highjack this thread but for those of you that are going from the AppleWatch and the iphone to the Note 20 Ultra line, what wearable watch are you choosing to pair it with? I too, have left iphone for the Note 20 Ultra and it is an outstanding phone, my only qualm is i'm having a hard time finding something to pair with it when it comes to the watch. Any suggestions?

I have the note 20 ultra 5G . I have the Samsung watch 3 also . I still have my iPhone 11 Max and iwatch series 4 . I’m going to trade in my iPhone to get the fold2 . I’m going to miss my iwatch somewhat specially the activity app . But the Samsung exercise app is good but not like iPhone app but I will manage . The Samsung watch 3 works better with the Note 20 ultra

I have read dozens of reviews on best buy about thr s3 and they are all great. But the yourtube videos I've watched in regards to it aren't the best. How long has the s3 been out?

The S3 is like 3 or so years old. The Watch 3 is the newest one.

I have both the Watch 3 45mm and Active 2. Both are great watches with different designs.

I have the GW3 and Active Watch 2. Both are nice but if I could only have one it'd be the GW3. Its just got that nicer more premium feel. I have the larger model of both watches and the battery life is quite good but I, again, recommend the GW3.

Is there enough of a difference to make a trade in for the AW2 toward the GW3 worthwhile?

Only if you really feel you're gonna like the GW3 look better, the rotating bezel, and the recessed screen (that does somewhat protect it). However, whenever I do wear my Active 2 I don't miss my GW3 too much but I do a little.
