iPhone to Samsung Galaxy S4 Active

I have been apart of the iphone community for 6 years. It's time for an upgrade and I find myself thinking more and more about switching over tot the Galaxy S4 Active. Most of my friends have this phone and makes it seem very easy and a very good phone. But as the only iPhone user, it seems almost intimidating. The interface and everything is completely different. So as much as I want to switch I'm afraid I'll catch myself missing my iPhone instead of enjoying the S4A. So, could previous iphone users tell me how they felt and if switching is a good idea? I'd appreciate all the help. Thank you.
