Is 3G down?

Has anyone been experiencing a problem like this? Since earlier in the week when both 3G/4G was down for about a day. The following day 4G was up but 3G was still down. Like many of you i usually turn 4G off and use 3G to conserve battery. So since the beginning of the week my 3G has been down and I've been forced to use 4G which can sometimes be spotty. I want my 3G back! This is in the SF bay area btw.

I'm generally on a wi-fi network most of the time, no matter where I go, but I have noticed only a very brief loss of 3G, and that was a few days ago, in various parts of Ventura County (Calif.).

I'm seeing 3g and 4G independently work/not work in Orange county, ca the last couple day (including right now)
